Carolina Breeze Bag

I make a lot of fun things and rarely keep them. My projects always end up as gifts but on Friday I decided I needed a new purse so I made one! I found this wonderful free pattern on Craftsy  from Grits and Giggles and it really was a breeze- except for Bobbie not being able to count to two. (the pattern said to cut two on the fold- I was using fat quarters and had to piece my fabric to make it fit- since I had two pieces of fabric I thought I was good- um sure for only one side of the lining) I had to find another fabric for contrast :) I do love the way it turned out and will certainly make another one!

I had to change the bow - I ran out of fabric
obviously this was not a planned project :)

 

I tweaked the pattern a wee bit to add the flip flop
 fabric on the inside
